  • Job Summary

    The Development & Community Relations Officer contributes to the Hospital's mission by securing philanthropic support for the hospitals programs, services technology and capital needs. Oversees and manages designated special events and campaigns to raise funds for the hospital. Responsible for developing new and maintaining existing support from key individuals and businesses in order to generate financial support. Works with service line directors throughout the hospital in identifying cases for support.


    Bachelors Non-Profit Management, Communications, Health or Public Health Administration Required


    2+ years Successful event planning/fundraising Required
    Prior Successful major gifts acquisitions Required
    Prior Event Management Required
    Prior Organizing of staff or volunteers Required
    Prior database experience required.

    Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Excellent writing, speaking and relationship building skills required.
    Ability to manage multi-task environment including all data entry, correspondence and reporting.
    Flexible work schedule to include weekends and evenings as needed for events.
    Knowledge of the community preferred.
    Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills required.
